“I LOVE this place!!!! Made a little afternoon drive over to Madrid from Albuquerque last weekend just to come eat here. If you’re planning on passing through, or staying the night, I highly recommend stopping by. My first time coming here a few years back I tried their Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer because I was intrigued by the Lavender Béchamel sauce that was served with it. It was delicious, and I was glad to see that the famous fried tomatoes were still on the menu. Another staple of theirs, to me, is their fluffy homemade biscuits, particularly in their Biscuit Burgers. I tried the chicken biscuits on our last visit and I was not at all disappointed. They have a cute eclectic outdoor seating area and a pretty decent selection of craft beers. The atmosphere definitely reflects the same carefree artistic vibe that Madrid has. I hope this place sticks around for years to come!!!”
